Eben Upton is the Executive Director of the Raspberry Pi Foundation, as well as a founder and trustee. The Raspberry Pi is a credit card-sized computer that was created to bridge a technology gap in communities that couldn't afford more traditional computing hardware and to teach programming to youngsters all around the world.
He is in charge of Raspberry Pi's general software and hardware architecture, as well as the Foundation's connections with major suppliers and customers. He previously worked as the Director of Studies for Computer Science at St John's College, Cambridge, and founded two successful mobile games and middleware companies, Ideaworks 3d Ltd and Podfun Ltd.
