Dyan Cannon is an American actress, director, screenwriter, editor, and producer who has worked in both film and television. She was born Samille Diane Friesen on January 4, 1937.
Cannon made her big movie debut in 1960 with The Rise and Fall of Legs Diamond, but she had her small screen debut in the late 1950s with a cameo on Bat Masterson in the episode Lady Luck in 1959. In 1959, she had a cameo as Nicole McCready in episode 54 of Steve McQueen's film Wanted: Dead or Alive.
