Crystana ‘Dutchess' Lattimore was born in Lincolnton, North Carolina to two beautiful parents. She shown great skill in art at a young age, which she cultivated during the course of her childhood. She graduated from North Carolina AT&T with a Bachelor Degree in Business Management with a focus in Visual Art, always at the top of her class. She found her passion for tattoo artistry while studying for her M.B.A. in graduate school and rapidly became a recognized and sought-after tattoo artist in her region. Feeling ready to showcase her ability with a broader audience, she relocated to New York City in 2010 and quickly became a well-known member of the ink community. She unexpectedly became a member of the Black Ink family and was involved in a career-changing chance with VH1. Dutchess, who possesses a perfect balance of talent, beauty, and cosmopolitan class, has been sought after not only for her ink work, but also for walking in several fashion shows, doing print work for publications such as Inked and Urban Ink, and being photographed by renowned photographers such as Barron Claiborne. After winning the top award at the 2010 Boston Tattoo Convention Beauty Pageant, Dutchess was stunned by the fact that she was characterized as “both an exotic beauty and a new force to be reckoned with in the industry.” She says she is humbled to be acknowledged for her talent and charm, but she is still on a quest to prove that she is one of the greatest and refuses to rest on her laurels.
