Drew Seeley was born and raised in Toronto, where he initially discovered his passion for the theatre. He was cast in Hal Prince's revival of Showboat when he was 11 years old and stayed with the show for a year. He has appeared in episodes of One Tree Hill, Dawson's Creek, and Guiding Light as a guest star.
Drew is also a musician who has traveled the country with the R&B group Nu Ground as one of the lead singers. Drew started working with seasoned producer Ray Cham in 2005, and the two collaborated on the song "Getcha Head in the Game" for Disney's quadruple platinum High School Musical album.
