Tripp is the Pastor Emeritus of Grace Fellowship Church in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, where he has served since 1980. He married Margy in 1968, and they have three grown children and nine grandkids. Tripp is the author of A Parent's Handbook for Shepherding a Child's Heart, Hints for Parents, and Instructing a Child's Heart, which he co-wrote with his wife, Margy.
