From the expatriate Chinese community of Vietnam and born in Canada Dr. Vincent Lam is an author and emergency room physician. His international bestseller Bloodletting and Miraculous Cures won Canada’s most prestigious literary prize the Giller Prize and was adapted for television and broadcast on HBO Canada.
He is also a lecturer with the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto. Lam’s latest book is The Headmaster’s Wager a riveting story of love betrayal and sacrifice which is set within the Chinese community of Saigon during the Vietnam War.
