Valentina Carbone is an Affiliate Professor at ESCP-Department EAP's of Information Systems and Technologies. Supply Chain Management and Operations Management are two of her teaching specialties. She is an Italian woman with a background in business and finance. She spent three years working at Procter & Gamble and Finseda (a European leader in food packaging) before beginning her academic career.
She was a research fellow at INRETS (National Research Institute of Transport), where she held scientific responsibility for a three-year research project on the impact of sustainable development on supply chain management, after earning her doctorate from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées (Paris) in 2004 (logistics integration strategies in Europe) (DURLOG Project).
