Stephen M. Kosslyn is the Minerva Schools Dean at KGI (the Keck Graduate Institute). He previously served as Director of Stanford University's Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences (CASBS) and Dean of Social Science and John Lindsley Professor of Psychology at Harvard University; he was also an Associate Psychologist in the Department of Neurology at Massachusetts General Hospital.
He has specialized in brain research and helped to establish the discipline of Cognitive Neuroscience. His study has largely focused on the nature of visual mental imagery, visual perception, visual communication, and learning science. Professor Kosslyn has written or cowritten 13 books and approximately 300 papers on these subjects. Professor Kosslyn has received the Boyd R.
