Stan is Zillow's Chief Economist. Stan was one of the company's original workers, joining in 2005 and creating the Zestimate® and its first algorithm. Since then, Stan has grown Zillow's industry-leading economics and analytics team. Stan is a member of Fannie Mae's Affordable Housing Advisory Council and is a renowned leader in the real estate business.
Stan was the head of Expedia's advanced analytics division for five years before joining Zillow. Stan was a presidential management fellow at NASA, the Office of Science and Technology Policy in the Executive Office of the President, and the Department of Commerce's technology administration before joining Expedia.
