Dr. Randy Martin is a Miami, Florida native. He attended Emory University Medical School and graduated with honors summa cum laude in 1969. Dr. Martin then went on to Stanford University Medical School to study Internal Medicine and Cardiology, where he became a pioneer in the emerging area of two-dimensional echocardiography.
He worked at Stanford Medical Center as an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Co-Director of the Noninvasive Lab from 1977 to 1978. He continued his early clinical work using two-dimensional echocardiography in the treatment of cardiovascular disorders. Dr.
