Irène Foglierini is an associate professor in the ESCP-EAP University's department of information systems and technology. Purchasing and supply chain management are two of her teaching specialties. She worked different roles in many buying organizations over a 20-year span after graduating from business school with a Master's in management (automotive industry, insurances companies, and consulting groups).
She joined ESCP-EAP in September 1985 after receiving a Ph.D. in management science from the University of Sorbonne, where she established buying and supply chain management courses for Master's programs and corporate universities. Her current study focuses on purchasing companies' TCO (total cost ownership) and TVO (total value ownership).
