Donald Kieffer is a Senior Lecturer in Operations Management at MIT Sloan School of Management and co-creator of Dynamic Work Design, a framework for improving business processes. With a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, Kieffer began his career operating factory equipment at 17, later becoming Vice President of Operational Excellence at Harley-Davidson for 15 years.

Since 2007, he has advised global organizations in industries like oil/gas, healthcare, and biotech. As founder of ShiftGear Work Design, LLC, and a Managing Partner at Milwaukee Consulting Group, he implements sustainable improvements through executive coaching.
