Don Wainwright is a leading national expert in the field of quality leadership. Wainwright served as a mechanical engineer for Westvaco Corporation and as a professor of mechanical engineering at West Point Military Academy before joining his family run business Don Wainwright Industries in 1969. He began as plant manager and was promoted in 1973 to Vice President/Director.
In 1976 he became Chairman/CEO the position he holds today. During Don's tenure Wainwright Industries implemented Total Quality Management and many unique personnel programs including an all salaried work force with a regularly at/or above 99% attendance record profit sharing programs and improvements in the manufacturing efficiency of the plant.
