Dion Weisler Biography

Dion Weisler is the Executive Vice President of HP's Printing and Personal Systems division, which generates $60 billion in annual sales from personal computers, mobility devices, technical workstations, printers, graphics solutions, managed print services, and internet services. Weisler was most recently Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Asia Pacific and Japan Printing and Personal Systems. He was in charge of all parts of the PPS business in the region in that capacity. He was the vice president and chief operating officer of Lenovo's Product and Mobile Internet Digital Home Groups prior to joining HP. In addition, Weisler was the worldwide leader of the Global Transaction Model. Weisler was formerly the General Manager of Korea, ASEAN, and ANZ, where he was in charge of Lenovo's whole operations in these regions. Weisler has more than 23 years of experience in the IT business and has held many important executive roles in the IT and telecoms sectors across different regions. He was responsible for Telstra's Conferencing and Collaboration products and services division before joining Lenovo as a General Manager at Telstra Corporation, Australia's biggest telecommunications corporation. He also had a successful 11-year career with Acer, where he was the Managing Director of Acer UK after previously serving as the Managing Director of Acer's operations in Central and Eastern Europe. Weisler graduated from Monash University in Australia with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computing.
