Dr. Dino Patti Djalal is the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the United States a speech writer youth activist academic and national bestselling author.He was named as the Indonesian Ambassador in May 2010 and presented his credentials to the President of the United States on September 16 2010.
He was previously a Special Staff for International Affairs and Presidential Spokesperson for President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (2004-2010). Dr. Djalal first joined the Department of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia in 1987. He was posted to Dili London and Washington DC before being appointed as Director for North American Affairs (2002-2004).
