Gladiator Holdings was founded by Dick Grasso. From 1995 until 2003, Grasso was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The New York Stock Exchange, the conclusion of a career that began in 1968 as a floor clerk at the Exchange. Grasso has previously served as Chairman of the New York Economic Club.
He serves on the boards of The Centurion Foundation, Lower Manhattan Development Corp., New York City Police Foundation, and New York City Public Private Initiatives Inc.; he is a member of the Yale School of Management's Advisory Board and a Trustee of the Stony Brook Foundation, and he is a member of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York's International Capital Markets Advisory Committee.
