At the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Diane A. Kelly is a Senior Research Fellow. Her research interests include sexual differentiation in the nervous system and the evolution of copulatory systems.
She is most recognized for her groundbreaking research on the structure and function of vertebrate penises, but she has also authored children's books, devised and published scientific card games, and assisted in the exhumation of a mastodon. Kelly graduated from Duke University with a Ph.D. in Zoology and an A.B. in Biological Sciences.
