Dev Stahlkopf is the vice president and general counsel of Microsoft. The Northwest native started her legal career with the Redmond-based company in 2007 after a six-year stint in private practice as an employment lawyer. During her time she was involved with many corporate social responsibility initiatives such as the law firm diversity program.
This project aims to increase diverse representation in leadership among the law firms that the tech company works with.In 2015 she oversaw the conceptualization and design of Microsoft’s paid leave policy for contractors which required suppliers who do substantial business with Microsoft to provide 15 days of paid time off for the employees.
