Since 1990 Derek has owned a masonry business and carves materials like concrete brick and wall stone to construct everything and anything his clients imagine.
Along with his masonry skills Derek Stearns is a plant guru and knows which plants thrive in the best locations incorporating them into his outdoor stonescapes. Cousin and fellow host of DIY Network- Dean Marsico join forces together to create new and old materials to transform into affordable outdoor designs.
