Dennis N.T. Perkins, Ph.D., is the Chief Executive Officer of The Syncretics Group, a consulting firm dedicated to effective leadership in demanding environments. He is the author of Leading at the Edge, Leadership Lessons from the Extraordinary Saga of Shackleton's Antarctic Expedition, Second Edition.
He was a Marine company commander and then a Yale School of Management faculty member after graduating from the US Naval Academy. He took his love of The Edge to Antarctica, where he retraced Shackleton's footsteps, and now lives in Madison, Connecticut.
