Denise is the Director of the Illinois Small Business Development Center at UIC. In directing the Illinois SBDC she creates comprehensive programs for assisting entrepreneurs with growing their enterprises and develops strong and meaningful relationships with the entrepreneurial community in Chicago. Prior to joining UIC she directed the Illinois SBDC at the Industrial Council of Nearwest Chicago (ICNC).
While at ICNC she managed the organization’s revolving loan fund originating microloans to area companies for working capital needs. Her previous work experience includes sales and management roles at WaMu and T-Mobile. She holds a B.S.
