Dedrique Taylor, who was born on May 1, 1974, is the current head coach of Cal State Fullerton's men's basketball team. He's also a collegiate assistant coach and a former Arizona State associate head men's basketball coach. Taylor spent seven years as an assistant coach at Arizona State University.
CollegeInsider.com ranked him one of the best 25 assistant coaches in the country in 2010. He coached ASU to four 20-win seasons, including a 25-10 overall record in 2008-09, the team's best since 1974-75, and three consecutive 20-win seasons. Taylor guided the Sun Devils to a 22-13 record and a second-round appearance in the National Invitational Tournament in 2012–13.
