Dean McDermott is a Canadian-American actor who was born on November 16, 1966. He is most known for his marriage to Victoria Davey Tori Spelling, with whom he co-starred on the observational documentary episodes Tori & Dean: Inn Love and Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, and for playing Constable Renfield Turnbull on the TV series Due South.
McDermott has acted in a number of television and film roles, including the Kevin Costner picture Open Range and the television film Always and Forever, in which he co-starred with Rena Sofer and Barbara Eden and was about two high-school sweethearts.
