Dean Engelhardt is the wacky and witty stunt pilot who has successfully crashed 14 aircraft on purpose! He has been featured on television shows such as Banachek, The Rockford Files, The Six Million Dollar Man, Chase, Little House on the Prairie and Cannon. Dean’s film work includes Airport 79’, Charlieand The Great Balloon Chase and Breakout. Among aircraft he has flown (and crashed) are a DC-3 and several hot air balloons. His 14,000 hours in the air includes every class and category of aircraft and pilot experience ranging from experimental test, movies stunts, Alaskan bush, seaplane instructor, aerobatic airshow to competition flying.
