David Margolick has been a contributing editor at Vanity Fair for many years. Margolick also worked at Newsweek and Portfolio incomparable capacities. He was a legal affairs correspondent at The New York Times before joining Vanity Fair, where he authored the monthly At the Bar column and covered the O.J. Simpson, Lorena Bobbitt, and William Kennedy Smith cases.

During his fifteen years with the New York Times, his work was nominated for the Pulitzer Prize four times. He continues to contribute to The New York Times Book Review on a regular basis. He's also published pieces in the New York Review of Books and the Forward. Margolick is a Stanford Law School and University of Michigan graduate.
