David Iglesias, JAGC, US Navy, is a prosecutor and team leader for the Office of Military Commissions, where he returned to active service in 2008 to prosecute terrorism cases at Guantanamo Bay.
Iglesias began his legal career as a US Navy JAG officer when he defended a Marine in a Guantanamo Bay court-martial in 1986, which inspired the film A Few Good Men. Dick Marcinko, the famed Navy SEAL who was the first Commanding Officer of the Navy's most recognized SEAL squad, was also successfully defended by Iglesias.
