David Hoffman is a seasoned documentary filmmaker from the United States. Hoffman has directed five full-length documentaries over his 50-year career, including King, Murray, an experimental feature film about a Long Island salesman who goes on a junket to gamble with other high rollers in Las Vegas. At the Cannes Film Festival, Murray won the Critics Award for King.

King, Joan Baez, and others; and It's All Good, a documentary about two aggressive inline skating teams in New York City and Los Angeles.
