David Gregory is a renowned American journalist, political analyst, and former television host. Hailing from Los Angeles, he is best known for moderating NBC’s “Meet the Press” from 2008 to 2014, succeeding Tim Russert. Gregory began his career at local stations in California and Arizona before joining NBC News in 1995. He served as a White House correspondent during George W. Bush's presidency, covering the 2000, 2004, and 2008 presidential campaigns. A graduate of American University, Gregory became a prominent political journalist, known for his sharp interview skills.
He joined CNN as a political analyst in 2016, where he contributed to election coverage. He authored “How’s Your Faith?” (2015), exploring his interfaith marriage and spiritual journey.
