David Edery is a research affiliate of the MIT Comparative Media Studies Program and an independent consultant specializing in the economics and design of online and digitally distributed games (CMS). David formerly worked for Microsoft's Xbox Live Arcade service as the Worldwide Games Portfolio Manager.
Prior to joining Microsoft, David was the Associate Director for Special Projects at the MIT Comparative Media Studies Program. David is also the co-author of Changing the Game: How Video Games are Transforming the Future of Business, which examines how video games are assisting businesses in connecting with consumers, attracting, training, and motivating staff, and increasing productivity.
