David Coverdale's famous voice has been a landmark in rock music history since 1973. Coverdale's illustrious career has led him from fronting Deep Purple to collaborating with Rock & Roll Hall of Fame guitarist Jimmy Page to touring the globe with Whitesnake, the greatest rock outfit of the 1980s, which is still performing today.
Coverdale was the lead singer for Deep Purple from 1973 to 1976. During his time with the band, the band recorded three albums, two of which went gold (Burn and Stormbringer), and produced singles including Soldier of Fortune and Burn.
