David was the CEO of Performable, a next-generation marketing automation software company, before joining HubSpot. Prior to Performable, David was co-founder and CTO of Lookery, founder and CTO of Compete, which was purchased by WPP (LON:WPP), and CTO of BuyerZone, which was acquired by Reed Elsevier (NYSE: RUK).
David was a member of the Bolt.com and Lycos founding teams in the late 1990s. David is a member of numerous boards and an active angel investor. David was born in New York City and currently resides in the Boston region with his wife and six-year-old daughter.
