David Barzelay is a self taught chef born in Tampa, FL, in 1982 who makes delicious food for fun. Barzelay is a former Lawyer who worked in intellectual property litigation before he lost his job in 2009. By that time, he was into food and throwing big dinner parties, so he started cooking in restaurants for fun.
Barzelay launched an underground restaurant called Lazy Bear in the fall of 2009. “I deliberately gave the impression that it was always moving around. I started it in my apartment, then moved it to art galleries and warehouses,” Barzelay says.
