David Albright, a physicist, is the founder and president of the Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit Institute for Science and International Security (ISIS). He oversees ISIS's project work, fundraising activities, and serves on its board of directors. He also publishes and performs scientific studies on a regular basis.
He has authored a number of reports on covert nuclear weapons projects across the world. Albright's judgments have appeared in a variety of technical and policy publications, including the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists, Science, Scientific American, Science and Global Security, Washington Quarterly, and Arms Control Today. Albright's research papers have been published by the Environmental Policy Institute in Washington, D.C.
