Dave has won a position on the National Retail Federation Board of Directors thanks to his seven Dave's Soda and Pet City locations and a widely promoted brand of high-quality pet chow for dogs and cats.
He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Retail Advertising and Marketing Association, where he is the sole small company owner representing independent retailers alongside Home Depot, Walgreens, and Target VPs of Marketing. “It's all these gigantic dogs — and me!” he says.
