Dany Levy offers a sense of energy, vision, and unique voice to all of her activities as a business entrepreneur, journalist, and astute cultural observer. Levy began her career in 1994 at New York magazine after graduating from Brown University with a BA in English with honors in creative writing.
In 1996, she redesigned and edited the Sales and Bargains section, and in 1998, she launched the magazine's GothamStyle section. Levy founded DailyCandy.com in 2000, after a brief stint at Lucky magazine. She started it out of her West Village apartment.
