Rabbi Danielle Upbin is a native of New York City. She earned a BA in Political Science and a Minor in Theater from Barnard College, Columbia University, with honors. Rabbi Upbin obtained his ordination from the Jewish Theological Seminary of America in 2002, as well as a Masters in Hebrew Letters.
She earned prizes for homiletics and articles on the Middle East peace process after being ordained. Rabbi Upbin has spent time in Israel living and studying, including a year of rigorous study in Jewish mysticism, Hasidism, and art in Jerusalem and Tzefat.
