Danielle Fong is the former co-founder and chief science officer of LightSail Energy, Inc. and also a Canadian entrepreneur. Fong served as an advisor to several startups in physical technologies and Greentech and was named Greentech Goddess. At the age of 12, Fong dropped out of junior high school to attend Dalhousie University.
In 2005, She graduated from Dalhousie at age 17 with first-class honors in computer science and physics, then she enrolled at the Plasma Physics Department at Princeton University as a Ph.D. student, but later dropped out. Following her leave from the Princeton Plasma Physics program, Fong founded LightSail Energy in 2009 with co-founders Stephen Crane and Edwin P. Berlin, Jr.
