Daniella Pierson is a Colombian-American entrepreneur, media executive, and founder. Raised in Jacksonville, Florida, as the daughter of a Colombian immigrant mother and an American father, she attended Boston University, where she launched her first company at 19 as a sophomore. In 2015, she founded The Newsette, a daily lifestyle newsletter for young women covering culture, business, fashion, beauty, and wellness. Starting from her dorm room with no outside investors, she grew it through word of mouth into a profitable media company that reportedly reached hundreds of thousands of subscribers and generated significant revenue in its peak years.
