Daniela Rus is an esteemed computer scientist and roboticist. She serves as Director of MIT’s Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) and the Andrew and Erna Viterbi Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Born in Romania, Rus earned her PhD from Cornell University. Her pioneering research spans robotics, AI, and data science, focusing on developing autonomous systems that integrate seamlessly into daily life.
