Dan Rutstein has been Director of UK Trade & Investment West and Central Region USA since August 2014. He manages teams in Los Angeles San Francisco Houston and Chicago. Previous to his current role he was Director of UKTI Germany from 2011-14.Dan joined the British Civil Service in 2006.
During his tenure he has worked for the Department for Transport on Railway Security policy and in the Department for Business as an aerospace policy advisor.This is Dan’s second career; he spent nine years as a journalist working for regional newspapers in the north of England covering first news and then sport.
