Daniel Mentz (born Atif Daniel Mentz) was raised in Roedermark near Frankfurt am Main in Germany.
Daniel developed his love for the stage through dancing Rock 'n Roll for ten years.He started when he was 6 years old and was at one time awarded Best Dancer of his state: Hessen.He became an Actor after he saw his first James Bond movie in theatres (GoldenEye).Daniel graduated High School and went on to get his German college degree (Abitur) majoring in English Politics and Economics.He started shooting short films with his friends at an early age and continued to write direct and act in films throughout high school and college.After graduating he worked in his father's Import/Export company until he was drafted for the mandatory military service.
