Dan Cummins has established himself as a prominent stand-up comedian and podcast host who combines sharp comedy with in-depth explorations of curiosities to achieve both comedic success and critical praise. After graduating from Gonzaga University with a degree in psychology Cummins worked as a child and family counselor before discovering his comedic talent at an open micronight in Spokane during 2000.
He rapidly advanced through the comedy industry by becoming the runner-up in the 2001 Seattle Comedy Competition before appearing on Live at Gotham and The Late Late Show and joining the Montreal Just for Laughs Festival. His first full-length special titled Crazy With a Capital F received a thunderous standing ovation at Spokane’s Bing Crosby Theater in 2009 before Comedy Central broadcast it nationally. The same year his debut album Revenge Is Near hit the market and Punchline Magazine included it in their Top 10 comedy CDs.
