Dan Carlin is an American political commentator professional historian and podcaster. Once a professional radio host Carlin eventually took his show to the Internet and he now hosts two popular independent podcasts: Common Sense and Hardcore History.Prior to being a prominent podcaster Carlin was a reporter for KVAL-TV.
He broke into the television news business in Los Angeles in the late 1980s and covered the 1992 Los Angeles riots. As well Carlin has worked as an author a columnist and a radio talk show host.
