Dan Bongino is an American conservative political commentator, radio host, author, and former law enforcement officer. Raised in Queens, New York, he began his career with the NYPD in 1995 before joining the U.S. Secret Service in 1999, where he served on the Presidential Protective Division, protecting Presidents Bush and Obama.
After leaving the Secret Service in 2011, Bongino ran unsuccessfully for the U.S. House and the U.S. Senate as a Republican. He transitioned to media, hosting the podcast and radio program “The Dan Bongino Show,” becoming a prominent conservative voice. He hosted “Unfiltered” on Fox News until 2023 and authored bestsellers like “Life Inside the Bubble” (2013).
