Son of Graham Hill and Former British racing driver, Damon Hill is one of two sons of a former Formula One world champion who won the title. In 1981, he began to race on motorbikes and moved on to single-seater racing cars after short success.
He advanced steadily up the ranks to the International Formula 3000 championship in 1989, and he never won a race at that level because of the strong competition. In 1992, Hill became a test driver for the Formula One title-winning Williams team.
