Dale T. Mortensen is a Northwestern University Board of Trustees Professor and Professor of Economics, as well as a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) and a research fellow at the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA). Professor Mortensen graduated from Willamette University with a B.A.
in Economics in 1961 and Carnegie-Mellon University with a Ph.D. in Economics in 1967. Mortensen is a member of the Econometrica Society, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, the Society of Labor Economics, and the European Economic Association, among other organizations.
