Dale Jamieson joined the NYU faculty in the spring of 2004 after serving as the Henry R. Luce Professor in Human Dimensions of Global Change at Carleton College.
He was previously a Professor of Philosophy at the University of Colorado, Boulder, where he was the first faculty member to win both the Dean's and Chancellor's awards for research in the social sciences and the humanities. He's also worked as a visiting professor at Cornell, Stanford, Princeton, Oxford, and Monash University.
