Dale Berry Biography

Dale Berry is an internationally recognized Certified Prosthetist with over 25 years of experience providing high-level rehabilitative care for amputees all over the world. He is currently the Vice President of Clinical Operations for Hanger Orthopedic Group, the world's largest rehabilitation corporation with over 650 clinics across the country. Dale was appointed Chairman of a Rehabilitation Forum at Walter Reed Army Medical Center to establish standards and policies for the treatment of American soldiers injured by land mines in the Iran-Afghanistan conflict, and in 2002, he led a clinical team to Kabul, Afghanistan, to treat men, women, and children who had lost limbs. Dale Berry is well-versed in today's frenetic and demanding business environment, and he has understood what it takes to achieve bottom-line results while being sensitive and compassionate. Dale has a well-deserved reputation as a lively and knowledgeable presenter and has appeared as a keynote speaker at rehabilitation symposiums, business meetings and retreats, and conventions across Europe, Canada, Asia, and the United States. His book RESULTS, There Is No Such Word as Can't is a top-selling for the publisher, and he has contributed to Chicken Soup for the SoulTM and other national periodicals and publications as a contributing author. Dale earned his bachelor's degree in 1980 from George Brown College in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He has worked in prosthetics in Canada, Germany, France, and the United States, and is board certified in both countries. Dale arrived in the United States in 1986 and has since visited all 50 states as well as every city in the country with a population of more than 150,000 people. Dale has had the privilege of caring for hundreds of people who have overcome the challenge of amputation over his travels. He's used the lessons he's learned from his patients to develop personal accomplishment, business, and marketing strategies that have resulted in some of the country's most successful Prosthetic and Orthotic clinics. Dale has also served as a consultant to companies in the manufacturing, marketing, distribution, and research and development sectors, assisting them in establishing a tailored targeted plan to accomplish RESULTS. Dale lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with his wife, two boys, and one dog.
