Craig Mundie is senior advisor to the CEO of Microsoft Corporation. Prior to his current role he served as Microsoft’s chief research and strategy officer. He joined Microsoft in 1992 to develop non-PC software platform technologies. Mundie has spent his career building startups in various fields including supercomputing consumer electronics education health care and robotics.
He has long been Microsoft’s principal technology-policy liaison to major governments.
