Cory Lopez has a varied surfing technique that has resulted in outstanding success throughout the years. He won T'eahupoo in 2001 and has also been documented riding some of the largest waves ever seen there. He made semis at Cloudbreak and perfect Restaurants in 2005.
He just advanced to the semi-finals of the Bells Beach Easter Classic, and he is presently ranked in the top ten on the World Championship Tour. Cory Lopez shook the foundations of the surfing world in one fell swoop in 1999.
